Landscape Maintenance

WE DO NOT OFFER WEEKLY MOWING
Spring Mulching & Edging

-By applying two inches of a premium mulch annually, this prevents erosion, reduces weeds, and incorporates nutrients back into the landscape. In addition to installing mulch, a spade edge will be cut to separate the turf from the beds. This is aesthetically appealing and prohibits grass roots from migrating into the landscape bed. Choose from a bark or a chipped hardwood mulch.

Pruning of Ornamental Trees & Plantings

-Proper pruning is paramount to the health of your landscape. By methodically removing sections of branches that are crossing, damaged or sick, this allows for sunlight and air to reach deep inside, encouraging new growth. As a result, plantings can be trimmed smaller in size to maintain the desired shape.

Shrub Trimming

-Typically performed in late-June through July, trimming of all shrubs and plantings gives the property a well maintained and formal look. Ornamental and specimen plantings will only be trimmed upon request of the client.

Spring/Fall Cleanup

-All debris will be blown from landscape beds, trees, as well as corners of the property. Upon request, the turf will be dethatched (spring cleanup only). The turf will then be mowed and all liter will be collected and hauled off. Spring cleanups formally begins the season, typically starting in the second week of April. Upon request for fall cleanups, annuals and seasonal color rotations will be pulled. The turf will be cut at 2", to reduce the chance for snow mold.

Seasonal Color Rotations

-Seasonal plantings are a great way to add pockets of color to your landscape. After meeting with the client and understanding their vision, we will install the desired plants for the specific season. The client will be notified if any soil amenities are incorporated, prior to work being done.
